His-Story began in 1983 when he left the island of St. Kitts with his parents and siblings to move to St. Croix, following the path of many islanders at that time. Life in St. Croix was abundant for him, filled with a loving family, a supportive community, and a carefree childhood that many could only dream of. He enjoyed a childhood surrounded by extended family, both blood-related and not, who looked out for him. His days were filled with laughter and island adventures, whether it was Easter camping with his family, relaxing after school with neighborhood friends, or sharing silly moments at home.
As the only boy in the household, he held a special place in his mother's heart. His mother, affectionately known as Marie, was a renowned seamstress and a creative force. She crafted bespoke clothing items that looked like it came straight out of magazines. She made him a fashion icon wherever he went, even at church, where he wore sharp, tailor-made suits. His school uniforms, made by Marie, were always the latest fashion. She even introduced cargo pants and Bobby socks to St. Croix in the late 1980s. His musical talent was inherited from his mother, who was also a songwriter of popular songs in the Virgin Islands. "Woah Donkey" and "Horse Chip," were released just in time to lift the spirits of the people of the Virgin Islands after Hurricane Hugo in 1989.
Life took a turn when his beloved mother faced health challenges. Despite her condition, Marie continued her motherly duties, often including him in her exercise routines. At nine years old, he was unaware of the severity of her struggle. One day, he received a phone call from his mother, who kindly asked him to look after his siblings and do his best in everything. Shortly after, she passed away, leaving her children behind and marking the beginning of his struggles.
At nine, his world changed drastically. The loss of his mother left a void in his heart and mind, and life as he knew it ended. The adults in his life tried to help, but no one could fill the void left by his mother. Despite this, he moved through his childhood and into his teenage years with grace. He grew into a handsome young man with charisma and poise, admired by many but also attracting jealousy and enemies. Defending himself became routine, and betrayal and provocation pushed him to the edge. Eventually, a judge decided to make an example of him, which changed his life forever.
Life took another turn when he was isolated from the public. Being isolated, he had to adapt and survive. During this time, he developed qualities that not even a free man might possess. Leadership, adaptability, self-awareness, gratitude, self-control, strength, business acumen, creativity, compassion, and discernment are some qualities that he developed. Despite being out of reach, he continued to motivate and support those close to him.
His musical talent flourished during his self-discovery, as he composed lyrics and built songs from his vast mental library. He also discovered a passion for creative writing, with hopes that one day the world might experience his musical talent and screenplays.
After 20 years, he finally regained his freedom and returned to his homeland. Despite being away from St. Kitts for over 25 years, he embraced his newfound freedom with enthusiasm. He reconnected with old family members and friends, and through his own determination, he brought his business ideas to life. By pushing through the red tape and with hard work and dedication, he established several ventures, including Sung Wav Enterprize and Juice Box.
Today, he is a self-made, well-known, respected, and revered member of the federation of St. Kitts. He has many innovative ideas that he plans to implement to help build a better community. He also hopes to one day extend his efforts to his second home, St. Croix.
